Deus Ex: Mankind Divided 101 Trailer is Now Out

April 28, 2016 by Nick Monroe

Get a New Look at Adam Jensen’s upgrades.

DeusExFeaturedHeaderSquare Enix has uploaded a new Deus Ex trailer going into detail about the Mankind Divided storyline. In the year 2029, augmented humans have been outcasted from society. Covert operative Adam Jensen uncovers a worldwide conspiracy and he has to overcome a world that hates his kind, in order to save it.

Guided by Adam Jensen’s voice himself, we see Adam’s apartment and new game locations such as Prague and Europe. You’ll see first hand the upgrades that have been uploaded to Jensen’s arsenal since the last game. His new augmentations give him even greater infiltration powers than ever before.

In Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, you become Adam Jensen, a counterterrorism agent working for an Interpol unit known as Task Force 29. On the surface, Jensen’s goal is to hunt down terrorists in a world that’s spinning out of control, where mechanically augmented humans live a life of complete and total segregation from the rest of society. But what he’s really after are the Illuminati: the men and women who are always pulling the strings. His investigation will take you around the world, with the decisions you make and the actions you take playing a crucial role in determining the game’s outcome.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided launches August 23rd for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

The Day One Edition costs $59.99, and comes with an extra in-game mission, a digital sampler of the official soundtrack, and a digital mini artbook, novella, and comic book, and finally a “Covert Agent Pack” that has in-game content like weapons, custom skins, and special upgrades.

The $139.99 physical Collector’s Edition for PS4 and Xbox One comes with all the Day One Edition content, but also with a sleek Black and Gold Prism Box, an Adam Jensen Figurine, and a 48 page Titan Art Book.

The PC Digital Standard Edition is exactly the same as the Day One Edition, but a $89.99 Digital Deluxe Edition adds a season pass for future Deus Ex: Mankind Divided DLC.
