Square Enix and Nexon are working hard in development to bring Final Fantasy XI to mobile, and yesterday we got our first sneak peek.
Ruliweb reports that the reboot was shown off yesterday at the Nexon Developer Conference in South Korea. The game will run on iOS and Android and was built in Unreal Engine 4, which is why the game looks so beautiful. The UI seen in the screenshots is only a placeholder, so don’t worry about a cluttered and messy screen when you finally and literally get your hands on the reboot.
Final Fantasy XI Mobile is slated to release later this year in North America, Europe, Japan, South Korea and other regions in Asia.
