EA Sports has officially announced their next installment to the NHL series, NHL 17. This time around the development team hopes to bring out one of the most exciting hockey games along with one of the most customizable installments to date. For now, we get a little taste of the game through the debut trailer along with news of gamers being able to vote on who they would like to see on the cover of the video game.
NHL 17 currently has a trailer called vision in which the teaser shows off little bits of gameplay footage. For the most part, the trailer aims to alert fans of the development teams hopes and desires for this next NHL video game installment.
Apparently, EA Sports is looking for fan feedback throughout the game development process in order to deliver a game that fans want to play. What all the development team will be asking fans to engage about is still unknown, but for starters, the EA Sports has an open poll for their cover art.
There will be three rounds for players to vote on when it comes to the cover art alone. The first round offers four different match ups with this round lasting until May 2, 2016, and for those interested, you can vote in the polls here. The winner of this round will be announced at the NHL Awards in Las Vegas on June 22, 2016, where EA Sports will also show off more gameplay footage.
So far there is no word on just when NHL 17 will launch but we do know that it will be coming out for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
