The Old Republic Patch 1.1.2 Leads to Serious PVP Bugs

February 8, 2012 by Josh Harmon

Users report that kills on Ilum are no longer being counted towards daily and weekly tallies.

Yesterday, BioWare pushed the 1.1.2 patch to Star Wars: The Old Republic, making some minor balance changes to the MMO, but they seem to have broken a crucial aspect of the game's PVP component in the process.

Users on the game's official forums are reporting that kills in the game's PVP region, Ilum are no longer being counted towards daily and weekly quest tallies. That might not sound like much, but it's a fairly serious problem for high level players who have already plowed through the bulk of the game's content and are focusing exclusively on PVP play while they await new updates.

Thankfully, BioWare Community Manager Joveth Gonzalez has acknowledged the problem and assured fans that they're currently hard at work on a fix.

"The dev team has been investigating the cause of this issue and they're closer to figuring out a solution. As mentioned before, we'll keep you updated with any new developments. Thanks again for your patience on this."
