Paragon’s Newest Hero(es), Iggy & Scorch, Playable Today

April 21, 2016 by Stephen Daly

They’ll also be paying a visit to PAX East this weekend.

Epic Games has confirmed that Iggy & Scorch, the latest Hero(es) for their MOBA title Paragon, are playable from today through Paid Early Access.

The combo features the pint-sized Iggy sitting on his trusty steed Scorch’s back while placing flame turrets to use against enemies. Iggy can also throw Molotov cocktails and Scorch secretes a flammable oil for compound damage over time, it also increases the damage area.

If you want a better idea of Iggy & Scorch in action, check out the above overview video.

Last month saw the release of the soul-eating Hero Sevarog for the game who gains health and stacks damage bonuses as he consumes more souls. Doing so also makes him grow.

Those attending PAX East in Boston this weekend from April 22nd to 24th will be able to check out the game for themselves at Sony’s PlayStation booth – that’s Booth #8044 in the Expo Hall.

Paragon’s creative director Steve Superville will also make an appearance on the Twitch Live stage on Friday, April 22nd at 12:00 pm ET. Superville will provide a walkthrough of the game’s replay system and an overview of Paragon’s most recent changes.

Paragon is available as a Paid Early Access title on PlayStation 4 and PC now. A free open beta for the game will take place this summer. The retail version of the MOBA, titled Paragon Essentials, will launch on June 7th.
