Unfortunately, the Grand Campaign won’t feature Bretonnia as a playable race. Bretonnia features Pegasus Knights and Barded Warhorses, which of course you can still mount in multiplayer, as well as Trebuchet artillery units, archers and the Enchantresses which provides insane buffs and powerful spells.
Recently, developer Creative Assembly welcomed players to the world of Old World of Warhammer. The Old World is home to the Empire’s many booming cities, the dark marshes of Sylvania, the arid Badlands and home to the war-hungry Orcs, the mountainous holds of the Dwarves, and the underways overrun by Greenskins. You can read more about that here.
In the video above you can witness incredible battles with the Bretonnian Race against the Vampires, who were the fifth race to be announced for the game. The Vampire Counts, under the direction of Mannfred von Carstein, use magic, necromancy, and ride into battle atop zombie dragon mounts.
Total War: Warhammer is available May 24 on Steam.
