Following the previous report that Eat Sleep Play's David Jaffe is leaving the company, the man himself posted details on Twitter confirming it.
"But if I may clear this up," wrote David Jaffe. "I was not laid off. I co-own the company. There were a few lay offs and they were painful to do for all involved. I'm leaving because—again—games are just getting too big to direct from 300 miles away, and I miss the day to day of working directly with a team."
Jaffe, who created the God of War series and Twisted Metal, is expected to pursue more game development with a more permanent home base for his next venture.
