Earlier today 2K announced Mafia III‘s October 7th release date. A new trailer is out and if that’s enought hype to get you to pre-order the game six months in advance, at least consider the discounts available to us at this moment.
Just hours after its announcement the UK PC gaming retailer Green Man Gaming threw the game up on their site where an pre-existing 20% off coupon code works at checkout. That cuts the price from $60 to only $48 and is the cheapest way to snag the game from an authorized PC gaming retailer at this time.

- Mafia III Standard Edition (Steam) — $48 (list $60)
- Mafia III: Digital Deluxe Edition (Steam) — $64 (list $80)
While discounts on the console versions really don’t happen prior to release, at least one retailer out there is tossing in a huge bonus. If you pre-order by June 1st, Dell Home will give you a $25 eGift Card bonus. The gift card arrives via email 10-20 days after the game is shipped and is an impressive percentage bonus.

Mafia III Pre-order Bonus
Buying Mafia III a head of time gets you the “Family Kick-Back” pre-order bonus DLC. This pack includes 3 exclusive vehicles and weapons. Details about the weapons and vehicles are not out yet, but it’s consistent with the pre-order DLC bonuses offered on most AAA titles out these days.
Digital Deluxe or Standard Edition?
Digital Deluxe is simple to explain, it’s just the game + Season Pass. Yep, there will be a season pass for Mafia III. Right now the Deluxe Edition is running $20 more than the standard edition, but we’re not sure yet on the price of the Season Pass. Presumable the SP will cost $20, but the Deluxe could also be offering a discount and the Season Pass.
Disclosure: Gameranx may receive a small cut from every transaction above.
