Gears of War 4 hits store shelves on October 11th but with beta keys rolling out players are already getting their hands on this much anticipated Xbox exclusive title. However before joining the fight players will have to wait through a mandatory 6.3gb update, which The Coalition studio head Rob Ferguson has stated will help fix some of the connectivity issue players may have been experiencing. In this day and age updates of this size are a dime a dozen but for some unlucky players 6.3gb is a long waiting process. With an unstable connection this can have players waiting for hours to get their hands on the beta.
