There’s some new gear heading to Destiny in the April update. In addition to what’s being added across all platforms, the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game will also be getting an exclusive weapon, an exclusive sparrow, an exclusive quest, and three sets of exclusive armor catering to each class.
The weapon is an exotic Sniper Rifle called the Zen Meteor. It comes with the “Dynamite” perk for explosive rounds. Rapidly killing enemies with the gun will get you an extra shot for five seconds. That’s compounded with the “With a Laser Beam” perk which causes a huge explosion whenever you fire that extra shot. You can acquire the weapon by decrypting Exotic or Legendary Engrams or any other source of Year Two exotics.
The exclusive Sparrow can be obtained through the “Fight Fire with Fire” quest, which is a part of the “Essence of Darkness” quest exclusive for the PlayStation.
As for the unique armor sets, you can acquire them by decrypting Sublime Engrams. Check them out below. The armor sets are called Barkhan Dune I (Warlock), Long Tomorrow 9G (Hunter) and Jovian Guard (Titan).
