Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is nearing its release. We have a few weeks to go before we are able to dive into the game ourselves. However, the development team over at Insomniac Games is already warning players to prepare treading the web. With such a massively anticipated game, once this title launches into the marketplace, it will undoubtedly open the floodgates for spoilers. So, if you’re planning to purchase this game and enjoy the campaign, you want to be cautious of where you start to browse online.
The development team for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Insomniac Games, took to X today and posted the warning. Likewise, the developers encourage players to keep the adventure fresh for everyone. So, it’s best to avoid posting anything that might be deemed a spoiler online. Of course, you will have trolls that will share spoilers for the campaign, so again, you’ll want to be careful of the various social media posts and comments. With that said, we still have until October 20, 2023, before the game is readily available in the marketplace.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is certainly quite the anticipated game. In this title, we’re following a storyline that takes place after the events of Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. As a result, this game will bring both Peter Parker and Miles Morales into the narrative, where players will switch back and forth between them. However, the duo will have their hardest battle to date. In this game, we’re dealing with Kraven the Hunter along with the extraterrestrial Venom symbiote, something we had a tease of at the end of Marvel’s Spider-Man.
Again, we have a little ways to go before we can get our hands on the game. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is set to launch on PlayStation 5 this October 20, 2023. While this game is only slated for the PlayStation 5, it’s likely we will see Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 also available on the PC a few years after it’s been readily available for the PlayStation 5. With that said, in the meantime, while we wait for the game to land in the marketplace, you can view a game trailer in the video embedded below. Likewise, if you still need to catch up on the storyline, you have a few weeks to get through Marvel’s Spider-Man along with the shorter spin-off, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
