Final Fantasy XIII-2 Release Trailer and DLC Details Revealed

January 31, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

A trailer celebrating the release of the latest Final Fantasy title is now online, in addition to DLC information.

Unless you've been asleep for the past few months, you'll know that Final Fantasy XIII-2 is slated for release this week.

The game is a follow up to the events in the first Final Fantasy XIII, putting players in the shoes of Serah, Lightning's sister, as she ventures through time to change the past.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 replaces the linear tunnelling of the original game with properly designed locations, new gameplay systems, and a wide range of character customization.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is now available on the XBox 360 and PlayStation 3. It will also see the release of additional content, including Colosseum battles that pits the player against friends and foes from previous Final Fantasy titles. The first battle, "Lightning & Amodar" is slated for release next week on both consoles.
