Update:
Here are what some players had to say about the big reveal trailer from yesterday.
I wish I was able to buy just the campaign. That’s all I really want.

Hoping the campaign is a little more grounded like the 2019 game. The last one wasn’t bad, but went a little too over the top. I think less is more when it comes to this new trilogy, more missions like Clean House. Kinda shocked, but not at the same time that they’re going back to back with the games.

I love when Makarov said “it doesn’t take the most greedy company on earth to create a two year cycle. Just the will of a single man” Truely a Call of Duty moment.

Original Story…
There was plenty of hype built up over the next Call of Duty installment. We’ve seen several leaks pop up, with Activision finally confirming that the next game was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. While we knew what the next game would be and even when players could get their hands on it, the official reveal event was set for today. Players knew that the next game would be highlighted during an in-game event within Call of Duty Warzone. Now that the event has come, we’ve finally got some of the finer details regarding the game.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is set to be a direct sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. Players will be following Captain Price and Task Force 141 as they fight to stop Vladimir Makarov as he continues to reign terror across the world. As previously mentioned, the new game will feature a Carry Forward feature. Players can continue to use their inventory and weapon progression from the previous installment release, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.
Just prior to the gameplay trailer drop, there was a tweet sent out by CharlieIntel that offered some insight into the game. It’s noted that the zombies were making a comeback, although the gameplay trailer event didn’t offer any teases to zombies.
Zombies is said to be making a big return in a new game mode, according to the tweet from CharlieIntel. As we previously reported with the first tease circulating online, Zombies mode is getting an overhaul which might make this game even more appealing to pick up. Again, according to the tweet, it’s noted that players will work with other squads as they fight back against hordes of the undead in what will be the largest Call of Duty Zombies map ever created. However, we’ll have to wait for more information to roll out regarding this game mode.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is set to launch this November 10, 2023. When the game releases you’ll find it available for the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S platforms. If you missed out on the reveal event, you can check out the gameplay trailer that was showcased after players completed a series of objectives. The footage can be viewed from the video we have embedded down below.
