Blizzard Entertainment President Accidentally Leaked Overwatch 2 Season 6 Skins

Blizzard Entertainment is gearing up to release the sixth season of Overwatch 2 into the marketplace. If you’re eager to dive into the season, then anything marketing-wise might catch your attention. Well, it looks like one piece of marketing material managed to get out to the public before its actual scheduled release. The best part about this is that the actual president of Blizzard Entertainment was reportedly the individual responsible for the leak. Now fans are getting a quick peek into some of the upcoming season six skins.

Overwatch 2 might have initially been released into the marketplace through early access back in 2022, but it’s far from done. This game continues to get support from the development team, and the hero shooter is about to receive its sixth season skins. Currently, the upcoming season is about to launch on August 10, 2023. So there is still a little over a week of content that could go up to hype up the upcoming season launch further. But thanks to Mike Ybarra, the campus headquarters for Blizzard Entertainment had a new décor posted up showing off some of the season six skins.

It’s only skins that were showcased, along with a look into the new support character being added to the roster. But outside of that, there wasn’t more showcased. Of course, since this image was posted, it was quickly pulled. That doesn’t mean it’s no longer accessible. In fact, we found this image available through Reddit. Meanwhile, we’ll have to continue watching for more marketing materials to come out showing off the upcoming season six. For instance, one of the big components of this upcoming season is story missions.

Story missions will be present in the upcoming season, and it’s said to feature three specific missions. That will be our first taste as more story missions will reportedly come in the future. But you’ll need to pick up the Invasion Bundle for the game to gain access to these story missions. There will be some additional content to enjoy as well, such as the new mysterious hero support character and the new Flashpoint PvP game mode. If you haven’t given Overwatch 2 a chance, the game is available right now through the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
