Deck13 Interactive is getting ready to release its next game. You might recognize the development studio from their past works if you don’t recall the development studio by its name. Their last major releases into the marketplace came in the form of 2017’s The Surge and its sequel, 2019’s The Surge 2. For the past few years, the studio has been working on its next release, Atlas Fallen, and if you’re interested in the game, we have new information. Today the download size for the game has emerged online for both Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
Thanks to a report from Insider Gaming, we know that the upcoming Atlas Fallen title from Deck13 will require 40.17 GB of storage for the Xbox Series X/S platforms. Meanwhile, those on PlayStation 5 will only need 21.36 GB of storage. We also know that those on the Xbox Series X/S platform will be able to pre-download the game right now. PlayStation 5 owners, however, will need to wait a bit longer as the pre-download is not set to be available until August 8, 2023, which is just a couple of days ahead of the game’s release, August 10, 2023.
If you’re unfamiliar with pre-loading, it’s the ability to purchase a game and download the title before its launch. This way, you’re not spending any time waiting for the game to download and install upon its actual launch date. It’s a useful feature to take advantage of if you plan to play the game at launch. Likewise, this gives you time to ensure you have enough storage space on your console drive before the actual launch happens. Fortunately, the game doesn’t look to be too hefty in size.
Atlas Fallen is said to be an upcoming action RPG where players are tossed into a fantasy world that becomes void of its precious resources. You’ll have to battle a corrupt god to save those trapped in this forsaken world that’s now filled with mystery and dangerous foes. Currently, as mentioned already, Atlas Fallen is set to launch into the marketplace on August 10, 2023. When the game does release, you’ll find it available for the PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S platforms. For now, while we wait for the game to make its way out into the marketplace, you can feel free to check out a trailer for the upcoming game down below.
