There’s no shortage of leaks and speculation regarding the next Mortal Kombat game. We know NetherRealm Studios is working on Mortal Kombat 1, and since its grand announcement, the roster has slowly been unveiled. But that doesn’t mean there’s not another collection of fighters waiting to get their time in the marketing limelight. A new leak is spreading online that shows off another set of fighters new to the roster and additional Kameo Fighters.
Now this is nothing official right now. Again, this is just a leak that’s been spreading around online. It could be completely fake, so take this information as nothing more than wild speculation. But if this is real, then we know the Mortal Kombat 1 Pack 2 characters. As mentioned, this is broken down to new fighters along with Kameo Fighters. More specifically, six new fighters are added to the roster, with five Kameo Fighters lending a hand during your fights. We’re learning about this collection of fighters thanks to a tweet by Idle Sloth.

That’s the collection of fighters being teased online right now, so we’ll have to wait and see if the Mortal Kombat 1 Pack 2 is officially unveiled. Mortal Kombat is no stranger to bringing guest fighters into the mix, so we’re certainly interested in seeing what other franchises will get the invitation to join in on the fun. At any rate, we still have some time on our hands before Mortal Kombat 1 even launches into the marketplace.
If you haven’t kept tabs on this upcoming game, Mortal Kombat 1 is set in a brand new timeline. We know that because of this timeline, we’ll get new alliances and relationship statuses for some of our favorite fighters. Meanwhile, Kameo Fighters are additional characters that can be triggered to join in on a fight. They won’t be tag team members that you can take complete control of. Instead, they can help with a combo move. Although, some of these Kameo fighters will be available in the roster.
Currently, Mortal Kombat 1 is set to launch on September 19, 2023. When the game does release, you’ll find it available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms. In the meantime, you can check out a trailer for the game right here as the videos are age restricted preventing an embedd.
