This year Nintendo is celebrating its 20th year anniversary of Pokemon and with it, they have been handing out free mythical Pokemon for the Nintendo 3DS video games, Pokemon X & Y along with Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. These mythical Pokemon are available each month and today you can get your hands on the latest Pokemon for the month of April which is Jirachi.
Unlike some of the previous mythical Pokemon that was available to pick for free, the month of April which features the Pokemon Jirachi, will not require players to be at their local GameStop. Instead, gamers can go online through their Nintendo 3DS and claim their gift of Jirachi.
For those who don’t know exactly how to claim their gift, then we’ll go over a quick little walkthrough. First, you’ll have to choose one of the Pokemon video games which are featured for the mythical Pokemon. After selecting the game, boot it up and go to the Receive Gift option, you will have to be connected to the Internet. Once the game connects online, you can claim your Jirachi and pick it up at any Pokemon Center in-game. Please note that this giveaway will only work until April 24, 2016.
As mentioned, each month for this year, Nintendo will be giving out a free mythical Pokemon. There is a number of different Pokemon lined up in the coming months which include Darkrai, Arceus, and Keldeo.
