Amazon Prime Members Will Get 4 Free Games

June 21, 2023 by Dennis Patrick

Claim your copies each week.

Video games can be expensive. We don’t have to tell you that! I’m sure you’re more than aware of the bump in pricing when new AAA games for modern platforms are fetching a $69.99 price tag. So you might have swayed away from getting some of the latest current platform releases until they started to dwindle in price. However, some outlets give players free video games attached to different subscription services. One of the more popular subscriptions your household might have is Amazon Prime.

If you’re a subscriber to Amazon Prime, then you have Prime Gaming. This is a little extra benefit you have being a Prime member. Essentially, it’s more of a service attached to Twitch where you’ll get a free Twitch channel subscription each month and ad-free viewing. Additionally, you have to select in-game loot to acquire and even free video games. If you’re only after a new free game to play each month, then you can’t forget about claiming your Amazon Prime Gaming offers.

Thanks to VGC, we’re finding out that four more video game titles will be offered for free. The first of which will be starting with Prey, the 2017 release by Arkane Austin. This is the studio that most recently delivered Redfall. While that game didn’t hit the strides developers likely had hoped for, they did deliver some solid gameplay experiences in the past. Prey, for instance, was well received, and they previously delivered the beloved Dishonored series.

All you need to do is sign into Prime Gaming and claim the games each week as they are featured. Right now, you have Prey, but starting on June 27, you’ll have Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition. From there, on July 6, you will get a free copy of Shovel Knight: Showdown. Lastly, we will wrap this up with Star Wars: The Force Unleashed on July 10. These might not be some of the latest games out there, but you will at least get some additional free games to add to your digital collection.

Meanwhile, if you want additional PC games to enjoy, then you can always keep an eye out on the Epic Games Store. Epic offers a free video game title or two for players to claim each week. There’s nothing attached to this either, so you don’t need to be a subscriber to gain these games. Instead, you’ll need a free Epic Games Store account.
