Uncharted developer Naughty Dog recently put out a call for a character artist to work on a next-gen game. The artist would be responsible for "making million poly models game ready," a requirement which speaks highly of the PlayStation 4's capabilities.
Presumably, the studio has plans to develop an Uncharted 4 for whatever next-generation console Sony puts out. While the job listing is hardly evidence of the game's existence, the smart money says that the continued success of the last Uncharted game has ensured the franchise for years to come.
While there's absolutely no guarantee that any character is going to boast over a million polys, the requirement is certainly a lot higher than the 30,000-poly characters in Uncharted 3, which were even further downscaled within the game. Needless to say, the next generation of games is going to look detailed indeed.
