If you’re a fan of the older Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate II then you’ll want to get your hands on Baldur’s Gate: Siege of Dragonspear, an expansion to Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition. This new expansion, which has officially launched today, was developed by development studio Overhaul Games in order to bridge the gap between the original titles Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate II.
The new expansion to Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition picks up shortly after the events of Baldur’s Gate with Sarevok deceased and a crusade marcheing from the north to seize supplies. Rumors begin to spread of a child of god known as the Shining Lady who will lead an army and restore the land.
The Siege of Dragonspear expansion will bring players over twenty hours of gameplay, seventy new areas, brand new monsters, a unique shaman summoning class, along with four new companions to help you along the journey. These four companions include a archer, bard, a goblin shaman, and a gnome cleric.
As mentioned, the expansion has officially launched for players to enjoy and since the game was developed using the Infinity Engine, the PC requirements to run the game are easy to match, though we’ll label the requirements down below. For now, you can pick up the latest Baldur’s Gate: Siege of Dragonspear expansion online for $19.99.
