The role-playing game from Larian Studios, Divinity: Original Sin, is getting an all new VR mode for free on the PC. Oh, and you won’t need an Oculus Rift or a HTC Vive to check it out.
Visitors to the upcoming PAX East event, which takes place next month on April 22 to 24, can provide feedback to the developers in person. Anyone interested in voicing their opinions can visit the studio’s booth #10224 and will be given free loot for mentioning the VR Mode to any one of its staff.
Visitors will also be given a chance to have hands-on time with the upcoming Divinity: Original Sin 2 and its combat system, which is being showcased at the booth.
You can check out the VR Mode today by following the instructions below on how to activate it:
– Fire up Steam or GOG and download the most recent update for Divinity: Original Sin- Enhanced Edition.
– Start a new game. (The new mode won’t work in older saved games.)
– Conduct a little treasure hunt around the starting area of the game (VR-goggle engineering imps are known to hide loot along walls and behind crates) and you’ll find a very special bag with everything you need to try the new mode.
You can provide feedback to the devs on the forums.
