2013’s Tomb Raider is now available for as little as a dollar. The catch? Your money will be donated to a charity.
GameChanger has launched a new game related campaign with a pretty easy catch. Donate as little as a $ 1 and you can get a Tomb Raider Steam key. Unfortunately, at the moment keys are unavailable as they quickly ran out, but GameChanger promises to get some more keys available so they can take donations soon. You can keep dibs on when they do get more keys here.
If you can’t wait and want to donate for the cause, you can opt to donate at the $ 20 and $ 50 for different incentives instead. $ 20 enters you into two raffles. One is for the chance to win Rise of the Tomb Raider Collector’s Edition, and swag, including a Crystal Dynamics bag. The other raffle is for the Tomb Raider Grand Prize Giveaway. This giveaway brings together one Xbox One console, five games, accessories, and swag, and is valued at $ 600. The $ 50 tier gets you a Tomb Raider poster, a GameChanger gratitude package, which includes a Thank You Letter and GameChanger Swag, and everything in the previous tiers.
Again, to be clear, the $ 20 and $ 50 tiers do also come with Steam keys for Tomb Raider. While you can’t donate less money to get a key at the moment, what you can do is donate at these tiers and be assured of keys now. Or, you can chance it and see if you can get in to donate for a key later.
2013’s Tomb Raider is the most successful game in the series, and widely cited as a landmark in the representation of women in AAA video games.
