Okay, now this is seriously cool and seriously useful if you’re considering taking a stab at a Skyrim rogue cosplay. (See what I did there? Stab? Because it’s a rogue? I’m so funny.) PunishedProps has created a gorgeous replica of Mehrunes’ Razor.
PunishedProps, a prop maker named Bill Doran, has posted the finished project and some progress shots and it’s all very impressive. The Razor started off with vectors that Doran put together himself using in-game screenshots, before he used foam PVC for the base. With a little epoxy, a Dremel tool, plastic resin and magic sculpt, Doran’s created possibly one of the most accurate and stunning Skyrim props I’ve seen so far.
Doran has made a mold of the dagger, so if you ask him really nicely and give him money, he might make one for you, too. If this isn’t your weapon of choice, Doran is also the man behind that sweet Mass Effect 3 N7 Pistol that went up for action for Child’s Play.
I wonder if I could commission him to make me a Wuuthrad…
