The video features Drake tossing a coin and asking if he’s made the right decisions in his life while a room burns around him.
Naughty Dog has released a number of behind the scenes video recently, showing how the series has evolved, how the team is pushing the PS4’s limits, and what it’s like “growing up with Nathan Drake“.
The developer announced last week that the game had gone gold.
Uncharted 4 has been delayed several times and underwent a complete rewrite when its original writers, Justin Richmond and Amy Hennig, left the studio in 2014. They were replaced by the series’ creators and The Last of Us directors Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley.
Hennig was reportedly forced out by the developer, a claim Naughty Dog has strenuously denied. She now works at EA Visceral on an unannounced Star Wars game with the aid of former Ubisoft developer and head of EA Motive Jade Raymond.
Last year, Nathan Drake’s voice actor Nolan North said eight months’ work was thrown out when Hennig left the project.
“Amy is still a very dear friend of mine and she’s brilliant. But The Last of Us guys were the next team there, so they took over and they just wanted their own flavor. They got rid of some of the other people that were involved and just redid their thing,” he commented at the time.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End launches on May 10th.
