Break Tamriel’s Laws With The Elder Scrolls Online’s Thieves Guild DLC Now

Bethesda has announced in a press release the launch today of the Thieves Guild DLC for Zenimax’s MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One worldwide.

Thieves Guild is the third DLC pack for the game and invites players to join the titular criminal organisation in Abah’s Landing as the newest recruit into the gang of pickpockets, burglars, robbers, and thieves. The DLC also allows players to explore the entirely new area of Hew’s Bane on the southern peninsula of Hammerfell. If you buy the DLC, you’ll unlock all new story content, unexplored zones, formidable group bosses, and more additional features.

Anyone who has an active ESO Plus membership can access Thieves Guild for free. Otherwise, the DLC costs 2,000 crowns and can be accessed through the ESO Crown Store.

Here’s what you can expect from the DLC: “Help restore the Thieves Guild in Abah’s Landing, currently besieged by the mercenary force known as the Iron Wheel. After a high-stakes heist gone horribly wrong, the Iron Wheel will stop at nothing to destroy the Guild. Hours of story content await as you solve the mystery of the Iron Wheel and restore glory to the Thieves Guild.”

A new quest type, Heists, allow you to hone your thieving skills by introducing trespassing and stealth mechanics to the game – though you do need to keep an eye out for the guards. The Maw of Lorkhaj is a new 12-Player Trial for both Normal and Veteran difficulty levels in which you must breach a Khajiiti shrine and overcome ghostly guardians in order to steal a treasure of Oblivion.
