The existence of Resident Evil 6 has been leaked ahead of schedule, thanks to a fuck-up at a GameStop outlet. The game was planned for a surprise announcement tonight at Capcom's Fright Club event.
The event was to promote Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City and the 3DS-bound Resident Evil: Revelations.
According to a previous leak, the game will be set to feature Chris Redfield and Leon Kennedy as its main protagonists, with an appearance by the mysterious Ada Wong.
Two images of the game's promotional poster at GameStop reveal that the game is bound for release on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and is set for release on November 20, 2012 in the United States.
Resident Evil is set to be officially announced at 2:00PM PST today.
