Rising Star Games has confirmed its plans to release two new PlayStation 3 exclusives in Europe this year. The UK-based publisher announced its plans to release both Way of the Samurai 4 and Rune Factory Oceans in Europe.
In Way of the Samurai 4, players take on the role of a nameless ronin who arrives at the fictional town of Amihama. Set sometime before the advent of the Meiji Era, players are then plunged deep into the politics that beset the region, and must align themselves with one of the game’s three rival factions: pro-government forces, the rebels, or the British Navy.
Rune Factory Oceans, also known as Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny, is already available in the United States. The European version of the game will see the addition of a new beast called the Ymir, which players can use to travel across the sea with.
At the present, there’s no word on whether Way of the Samurai 4 will see release in the United States, although thanks to the PS3’s lack of region locking, interested gamers can import the title from Europe.
