Street Fighter X Tekken gets a little Pacman (and other Characters Revealed)

January 17, 2012 by Mat Growcott

In a fairly amazing move, Pacman will be able to fight Cole MacGrath in Street Fighter X Tekken on the Vita.

This trailer is very interesting and would be with or without the last seventeen seconds. It shows a handful of new characters previously unannounced, including the very fat American Rufus – the only character I had to look twice at while playing Street Fighter 4. If he isn't a statement on Capcom's view of their fans from overseas, I'm not sure what is.

Other characters announced are Zangief, Asuka, Lili, Balrog, Vega, Law, Paul, Juri, Xiaoyu and the promise that "new challengers await in the shadows" flashes towards the end of the trailer, implying that Street Fighter X Tekken is going to have quite the roster when it's released later in the year.

The really exciting bit comes at the end of the trailer when a few details on the Vita version of the game are revealed, or not revealed, as shadows of Pacman and Megaman flash onto the screen. What could it possibly mean?
