It looks like Rockstar North is developing for one of the next gen consoles we can hope to see soon according to a job listing for an environment artist position advertised on their official website.
“You will be designing, building and texturing the world, have the technical knowledge to achieve great looking results and the skill to get the most from next-gen consoles,” the listing reads. “Advanced skills in one or more of the standard industry 3D packages essential. Knowledge of 3DS Max an advantage.”
The listing doesn’t offer much else in the way of juicy gossip, but it’s encouraging to know that we could be hearing of something for these new fangled consoles from Rockstar sooner rather than later.
