There is plenty of hype building up for the next major Resident Evil game release. Since the launch of Resident Evil Village, fans have been wondering just what the next installment would deliver. Rather than bringing out a successor to the game, Capcom is delivering fans a remake of Resident Evil 4. Now fans are inching closer to the release date for the game, but there is still time for some marketing materials to release to the public. While some fans might be waiting on an actual demo for the game, we do have a prequel minigame of sorts available right now. Recently, an ARG puzzle experience surfaced online, with players solving puzzles.
The ARG is titled Baby Eagle Is Missing. If you don’t see the connection from the title alone, Baby Eagle is the codename given to the United States president’s daughter, Ashley Graham. This puzzle game is played through the website portal, and it will give players a prequel that sets up the journey we’ll embark on when Resident Evil 4 launches. Essentially, it looks like we’re solving a series of puzzles to track down where the kidnappers had taken Ashley Graham. Time is of the essence, so can you pinpoint the solutions to the puzzles quickly? You can try your hand on the ARG Baby Eagle Is Missing right here.
Meanwhile, we’re still waiting to see if a demo will give players a taste of what’s to come when Resident Evil 4 launches later this month. However, one event that may prove to have some kind of highlight for Resident Evil 4 in terms of a demo is happening later this week. For those who might not recall, there is a Capcom Spotlight event happening on March 9, 2023, at 2:30 PT. That might be the event where we’ll get word on a demo experience that players can download and enjoy before Resident Evil 4 officially drops into the marketplace.
We have you covered if you haven’t kept tabs on Resident Evil 4. This remake follows Leon Kennedy, who is sent out on a mission. Your goal is to venture to a secluded Spanish village to find the president of the United States’ kidnapped daughter. However, you soon find a new virus has hit the village, making Leon’s job quite challenging. Players will need to locate Ashely Graham and determine the game plan for this newly infected group.
Currently, Resident Evil 4 is set to launch on March 24, 2023. When it does release into the marketplace, you’ll find it available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms. In the meantime, you can check out the game trailer for Resident Evil 4 in the video embedded above.
