Disney has announced that we can expect a new Marvel game for Facebook thanks to Playdom.
Marvel: Avengers Allience is like Pokemon, except instead of catching small animals and forcing them to fight each other for profit and glory, you recruit heroes and help them level up so as to fight the forces of evil.
A thing called ISO-8 is mentioned a few times, but it’s never mentioned what ISO-8 actually is. Given the fact it’s a facebook game, however, I have a feeling it’s going to require you to part with your hard earned cash. The game will also feature PvP, allowing players to go head to head with their heroes (and villains,) which is a nice little addition sure to have you paying out the butt for ISO-8 for the sake of competition.
We can apparently expect to see the game in Q1 this year. If paying for ISO-8 means Thor will fight without a shirt, I’m sold.
