After several instances of some really disappointing DLC, Saints Row: The Third finally brings us some new playable content in the form of Genki Bowl.
Look, if you know Saints Row at all, you know that affixing ‘Genki’ to the start of anything is a guarantee you’ll be getting that special brand of ‘I have no idea what’s happening right now but it’s fantastic.’ Genki Bowl looks like it’s going to deliver on just that.
“Sail through the skies with Sad Panda Skyblazing. Fight through dark, shark-infested jungles in Angry Tiger’s Apocalypse Genki. And crush your way to victory in Sexy Kitten Yarngasm. But don’t forget to help Professor Genki maintain his excitement before any public appearances in Super Ethical PR Opportunity.”
What the hell is a Sexy Kitten Yarngasm? Is that the big ball of yarn in that trailer? Why is there a shark eating that mascot? What’s going on? This isn’t where I parked my car.
The DLC will launch Tuesday, Januaray 17. Pricing has yet to be announced.
Am I excited for this? Yes. Am I ready for Genki bowl? I’m not quite sure.
