Razer's latest dramatic countdown has come to a close, culminating in the CES reveal of a new PC gaming tablet concept that the company has codenamed Project Fiona.
Fiona might look like someone bolted two PS Move Controllers onto either side an iPad, but she's powered by some pretty respectable hardware. The device sports an Intel Core i7 Ivy Bridge processor, a multitouch display, precision accelerometers, force feedback, and Dolby 7.1 surround sound.
The biggest selling point, of course, is that Fiona can run "many PC games" right out of the box, without any need for porting or additional development. Razer's definition of "many" is certainly open to interpretation, but the trailer shows Firefall, Assassin's Creed Revelations, and H.A.W.X. 2 running on the device.
Though Fiona is just a prototype at the moment, Razer expects to bring the tablet to market by Q4 2012, at a price point somewhere "under $1000".
