Hogwarts Legacy fans have been waiting for the launch of this game. It’s grown a massive audience of players already before it has hit the store shelves. While the game is not set to launch until February 10, 2023, there are early-access players. Those who have gained early access will enjoy the game a few days before the official launch. Of course, the big question you might have is just when exactly you’ll get to enjoy this game on February 7, 2023, when the game is set to release via early access.
Fortunately, it’s pretty straightforward. It looks like everyone will get to access this game at midnight their local time. The only exception here is for those located on the west coast of the United States of America. If you’re located in that area, you’ll find that the game will actually be available at 9:00 PM PT on February 6, 2023. This is to go along with the launch of the EST launch on the other side of the country. Regardless, almost everyone will have to wait for their midnight launch to enjoy the game.
That’s also an easier means to ensure you’re getting access to the game right when it becomes available. While this news comes from the official Hogwarts Legacy Twitter account, it’s noted that this is only for the digital version of the games. A follow-up tweet from the account noted that this global release time image is just a reflection of the digital pre-orders. If you pre-ordered a physical copy, the post noted that you’d need to contact your chosen retailer for when physical editions will be available for pickup or delivery.
While the early access starts a few days ahead of the official launch, February 10, 2023, we’re quickly gaining on the release date. Of course, this release is only for the current-generation platforms. You’ll find the game will launch on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5 platforms. Meanwhile, those on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch will have to wait a bit longer for the game. Regardless, we should soon be diving into our own magical journey of a student at the prestigious Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
