Alan Wake PC FAQ Will be Unveiled Soon

January 9, 2012 by Lyle Smith

Likely to be released this week or next.

For those who are itching for more information on the PC release of Alan Wake: You won’t have to wait much longer! Remedy’s Community Manager, Peter Papadopoulos, stated on Alan Wake’s Official forum that a FAQ for the PC iteration of the Horror Action-Thriller will most likely be released the next week.

“As for the FAQ – we only just got back from holidays this week. We’ve started back working on it but we’ve got so many things on the go it’s quite tough. I’m going to schedule a sit down with Ozz next week and we’ll try knock out most of the FAQ in that time. So expect the FAQ either next week or the week after that. “

Currently, there’s little information on the PC edition. We do know, however, that it will be a Steamworks title that won’t support Game for Windows Live. It was also revealed that there will be an option to completely hide the HUD and it will use a checkpoint saving system similar to the console version. In addition, the Xbox 360 controller will be supported and it will be only playable in DirectX 9.
