It looks like we will be seeing a lot more of Infinity Blade if dollars signs have anything to do with it.
Epic Games and Chair Entertainment have announced that Infinity Blade, the popular iOS fantasy fighting game, has made $30 million in revenue since its original release back in December of 2010.
Those are monstrous numbers for a mobile game that was created in only five months.
Infinity Blade II hit the iTunes Store on December 1 and has since accumulated $5 million in revenue. According to sales figures, it took the first Infinity Blade over three months to reach that same total; the original has made a total of $23 million to date.
Other Infinity Blade-related merchandise contributing to revenue include a digital novella Infinity Blade: Awakening, the Infinity Blade OST, and Infinity Blade FX, and a coin-operated version of the game currently inhabiting arcades around the US.
