The Xbox Game Pass is easily one of the best things Microsoft has going for. After all, it’s easily the best “gaming service” of the three brands. The Nintendo Switch Online service doesn’t compare because it only deals with past games. Meanwhile, PS Plus is good, but certain restrictions hold it back from being as great as what Microsoft has. After all, being able to go onto an Xbox or PC and having access to legions of games for a low price? Plus, getting day-one arrivals and new games cycled in every month? That’s something that numerous gamers have latched onto.
The good news for them is that things will only get better from here, as the next slew of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass has been announced. Two of them made big splashes yesterday with their big announcements. First, Hi-Fi Rush was a surprise shadow drop title announced during the Developer Direct yesterday. The game is already getting praise from fans and critics alike for its visual style and gameplay loop. So if you haven’t tried it yet, get on it!
The other big announcement made yesterday was Goldeneye 007. The beloved first-person shooter from the N64 era will arrive on the Game Pass tomorrow, so you better dust off that suit and get ready for a showdown against friends and rivals!
But those aren’t the only games coming out in the days of this month or the early days of February. Roboquest will arrive on January 30th, followed by Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, Inkulinati, and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle R on the 31st! However, some of those games have limits on where you can play them, so be sure to look into that.
Is that still not enough for you? Very well, Darkest Dungeon and Grid Legends come to the Game Pass February 2nd, followed by Hot Wheels Unleashed – Game of the Year Edition, which will release February 7th.
There are some primetime games in that selection, and they can keep you busy for some time if you let them. But that’s only one side of the coin. Some titles are leaving the Game Pass soon that you’ll want to finish before they’re gone.
On January 31st, the following titles will leave the service: Taiko no Tatsujin: The Drum Master, Worms WMD, Donut Country, and Telling Lies.
All in all, it’s a great time to be a part of Xbox Game Pass, so don’t miss out on these gaming experiences!
