Bethesda has confirmed that Fallout 4’s new update, patch 1.4, should be available to download on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One by the end of the week. The patch introduces some new features, bug fixes, and under the hood tweaks to get the game ready for the upcoming DLC. It was released on PC on February 29th.
As previously detailed, the patch adds support for the game’s first three DLC packs and introduces plenty of new of aesthetic customisation options for your settlements through the Workshop crafting system. More than two dozen bug fixes also feature.
One notable issue that’s addressed is a problem that saw certain screen effects remain even after you’ve stopped using a scoped weapon. The patch also fixes a problem affecting the “Kremvh’s Tooth” quest item, which doesn’t spawn correctly. An issue affecting running in third person while carrying a mini-gun has also been addressed.
