As if you weren’t excited enough about Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, Hideo Kojima’s let it slip that we can also get excited over a new snakeskin 3DS.
Hideo Kojima shared a picture of the console over twitter, citing it as the industry’s first pattern embossed hardware. More details about the super sexy version of the 3DS will be made available come January 20, when an announcement is planned.
While this is really exciting news for Japanese fans, who can look forward to Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D come March 8, those of us in the US, Europe and Australia are left hanging in limbo until more details are made available. Given our horrible luck when it comes to nifty extras like this, however, it’s perfectly okay to be skeptical.
That being said, however, should this very special version of the 3DS reach our parts of the world, Kojima needs to shut up and take my money. I want 12.
