Listen to the Critical Distance Confab!

December 28, 2011 by Ian Miles Cheong

A bunch of writers yammer on about all the stuff that happened in video games in 2011.

Critical Distance is a website dedicated to the curation and preservation of critical articles on video games. Every week, a feature called “This Week in Video Game Blogging” covers (almost) every videogame-related article worth reading.

As one of the staff of Critical Distance, I participate in a lengthy podcast we call the Critical Distance Confab—an annual round-up of all the subjects we found interesting throughout the year, as well as the notable games it has produced.

Together with fellow writers Eric Swain, Kris Ligman, and Katie Williams—all of whom have written for Gameranx—and Critical Distance founder Ben Abraham and editor David Carlton, we discuss everything we possibly can in the span of five or so hours. As the whole show is split into multiple parts, you can listen to the podcast for blocks of time.

Check it out here.
