Usually, I really hate talented people because they make me wish I’d done something with my life. That being said, an exception can be made for console modder Tchay, who’s made a portable Gamecube that’s so magnificent that it even has it’s own music video.
The Envision is quite possibly one of the coolest homebrew handhelds since the Pandora, and includes all the controls you’d find on a Wii classic controller. It gets about 2 hours of battery life, uses re-purposed smart phone speakers for great sound quality and – this is the best part – runs everything on Wiikey Fusion, which means everything is run off an SD card.
The Envision can play all Gamecube titles spare for Luigi’s Mansion, most Nintendo 64 titles and all the SNES and NES games you can possibly find and port onto there.
The Vita is dead to me, I want one of these.
