Sony has revealed a new PlayStation exclusive for Hitman. If you’re on PS Plus, you can access another beta this March.
This PS Plus exclusive beta is coming this March 4, and will be live for the weekend. I/O Interactive’s developers will also host a PS Plus Hitman livestream, where they will guide fans through the beta. Make sure to catch it by clicking subscribe on the Events tab on your PlayStation 4.
I/O also revealed an all-new mode coming as a part of the returning Contracts Mode. Elusive Target Contracts ramps up the realism and difficulty to a whole new level. You only have a limited time frame to take out your target, and this time frame happens in real time. The rewards are substantially higher as well.
Finally, Sony shared a new trailer, called Hitman Legacy. The trailer explains the connection between the newest Hitman game and the previous games. The older games occur in Hitman Prologue and the Paris Sanguine Fashion Show. Without spoiling too much, the trailer also introduces a character who has been observing Agent 47 and the consequences of his successful contracts and actions from afar.
Hitman launches for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on March 11th, with additional episodes opening up new areas later in the year. PlayStation 4 players can also look forward to a series of exclusive contracts called the Sarajevo Six. You can read new details about the game’s episodes and the live events components.
