The Plus update is up on the PlayStation Blog and subscribers, if you're not easily persuaded to buy HD collections, are in for a good month. The big gift this time round is Tomb Raider: Underworld; a good game, although I can safely say it's not as fun if you've just played Anniversary and Legend in quick succession. Still, for free nobody is going to complain.
The PS1 classic this month is the ice cold Cool Boarders. I never played the original but the sequel was fantastic, I imagine it hasn't aged all that well but for fans it'll be an utter treat (especially if you don't mention that the US store is getting three free Spyro games).
