Youtube user madshaun1984 was one of the few people who didn’t upgrade their PS3 firmware so that he could keep the Other OS functionality but unlike others who are busy suing Sony for removing the feature madshaun has been silently working on something of his own.
After days working his personal project, madshaun1984 has finally managed to compile and run XBMC Media Center on his PS3 via OtherOS and Ubuntu10.04. It is still very slow but according to him it’s a work in progress.
