Kirby and The Forgotten Land Is The Best Selling Kirby Game Ever

November 8, 2022 by Faith Lane

Kirby is impressing us all.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land has been out for a couple of months now. Many Kirby fans have expressed how much they love this game between its amazing graphics, fun gameplay, and also just the adorableness from our favorite round pink guy. Back in August, it was reported that Kirby and the Forgotten Land has become the second best-selling Kirby game ever, but now it has officially passed the previous holder of that title which was Kirby’s Dream Land. Kirby and the Forgotten Land is now the best-selling Kirby game of them all.

It was confirmed earlier this year by Nintendo that Kirby and the Forgotten Land, which launched on March 25th, had sold 2.61 million units of the game just during the months of April through September 2022, which has bought the game’s total sales to 5.27 million. The game has now been put ahead of all the other Kirby game sales.

It has been a really impressive journey for Kirby throughout the new game launch, a big achievement for Nintendo. Nintendo seems to be focusing a bit more on the Kirby franchise lately as they have given us Kirby’s Dream Buffet which is an online-only game for multiplayer that kinda is similar to Fall Guys while also being Kirby-themed. Now we also have the release of Kirby’s Return To Dream Land Deluxe coming out in February 2023.

Kirby and the Forgotten World is available for Nintendo Switch both digitally and physically. The game has also been announced to go on sale for Black Friday in the US Nintendo.

Kirby’s Return To Dreamland Deluxe

The time has come that we are already getting another Kirby game coming in February, which is only a month difference from the last Kirby release of Kirby and the Forgotten Land…besides the mini-style game Kirby’s Dream Buffet. Kirby is coming back for a 4-player adventure game where you can, as always, being able to copy the enemies’ powers and abilities to better help you defeat your enemies and win levels. This game takes after many of the other Kirby games and if you hop over to Nintendo’s YouTube and watch the trailer, you will see what I mean even more.

This game is a multiplayer game where you can team up with friends, each player controlling one of Kirby’s iconic friends like the beloved King Dedede, Meta Knight, and Bandana Waddle Dee. This will be an exciting experience for Kirby players and gamer friends alike.

Kirby Return to Dreamland Deluxe is releasing in February 2023 for Nintendo Switch.
