Redfall Beta Could Be Coming Soon After A Recent Discovery On Steam

November 8, 2022 by Dennis Patrick

EULA terms are now up.

We’re nearing the end of 2022, and that means more focus is put on what games will be hitting the store shelves in early 2023. Redfall just happens to be one of the big upcoming games coming out into the marketplace in the first half of 2023. This is the next title to be released under Arkane, who had just released Deathloop. While we’re still waiting on the official release date to make its grand reveal for Redfall, the title might be gearing up for a big beta announcement thanks to one recent discovery on Steam.

Recently, it was discovered and shared on Reddit that a Redfall EULA was tossed up on Steam. This is for a beta trial which has yet to be unveiled. Unfortunately, the EULA doesn’t provide anything noteworthy about the game, as it’s just a trial and confidentiality agreement. But that still has fans wondering just when Arkane will be announcing the beta. Already, there is some hesitation that this could potentially be a beta tied to a preorder. Others are hopeful that this is a free beta for everyone as a means to further market the upcoming release.

As mentioned, Arkane recently released Deathloop. This was the last big game released which landed on PlayStation first. Now that Arkane is now under the control of Microsoft, games like Redfall will end up being an Xbox console platform exclusive alongside PC. For those unaware, Redfall is an upcoming first-person shooter that focuses on cooperative multiplayer gameplay.

Overall, players will find themselves stuck on the island of Redfall. After a vampire legion takes control of the area, it’s up to the players to hunt them down and rescue the citizens from their impending doom. Fortunately, the team of protagonists all has their own unique attributes and abilities. Likewise, you can also expect a variety of different vampires to fight against. As a result, you can get a pretty well-rounded team going when you join online with a few friends.

As mentioned, we don’t have a specific release date for the game quite yet. Instead, the developers have only slated a release for PC and Xbox Series X/S platforms sometime in early 2023. Likewise, we’ll have to keep a lookout for the official beta announcement for this game and just how players will get a chance to participate. For now, you can check out the game trailer embedded down below.
