Sony Entertainment Online today announced that the anticipated Lightening Strikes DLC featuring the flash will be available for DC Universe Online come December 6th.
The game, which will feature the super hero most likely to be taking performance enhancing drugs, as well as a new map, will be available for $9.99 for free and Premium players.Those of us who forked out for Legendary, however, will be able to download the content for absolutely nothing.
This is the second DLC released for the MMO following the release of Fight for Light in September – DLC focusing around Green Lantern. While the DLC was originally slated to cost $9.99, Sony Online Entertainment chose to give it away instead as a way to ‘thank it’s loyal players.’
DC Universe Online is currently free to play on both PS3 and PC. The game also allows you to purchase in game items and subscribe to the Legendary service, with a range of different payment and billing options.
