There always seems to be a way to do whatever you want and go wherever you want in The Elder Scrolls games and Skyrim player, Jesse, seems to do just that.
He recently noticed that the game wouldn’t allow him to go any further once he arrived at the border between Skyrim and Morrowind–the land featured in The Elder Scrolls III. He didn’t let that stop him though. Jesse entered ‘noclip’ mode and started his journey beyond the invisible wall and what he claimed to find was pretty staggering: The entire continent of Tamriel.
Though nothing has been confirmed that this is even possible, it’s still quite interesting.
Along his journey, he took screenshots recording landmarks like Vvardenfell and the Imperial City in Cyrodiil. Though the textures are significantly reduced in quality, he insists that they are in the game every time you load it up.
I’m very curious to hear Bethesda’s response to this claim. If it is indeed true, why is it there? I’m sure people can come up with a whole lot of reasons, but it would be very interesting to see what they have to say on the matter.
