Do you remember when Hideo Kojima left the Metal Gear series after Metal Gear Solid 2? And then he left after Metal Gear Solid 3? And then we were all assured that the fourth game would absolutely be the last.
According to an interview with the Official PlayStation Magazine, to be published November 29th, Hideo Kojima is returning for Metal Gear Solid 5 and, while we know absolutely nothing about it outside of its existence, knowing it exists at this point is more than enough.
With the majority of questions answered in Metal Gear Solid 4, I'm left to wonder where the series will go from there. Will it feature Solid Snake, last seen giving up smoking and settling for an easier life, or will it feature Big Boss, half mad after years of being screwed over by the government?
I can't wait to find out.
