There have been countless Marvel video games on the market over the years, and it’s apparent that they’ve come a long way, especially with games like Marvel Avengers and Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered. A while back we found out about a Marvel Iron Man game that was channeled by Disney which was disappointing for many fans, however, we got confirmed news that an Iron Man game is still coming for the fans of Tony Stark. It is really amazing to think of more of our favorite Marvel superheroes getting their own spotlight game.
Obviously, the next up hero to get the spotlight is Iron Man. He hasn’t really had as many solo games as let’s say, Spider-Man has, nor has his games gotten popular. There is an Iron Man VR game that actually lets players wear the famous Tony Stark-made Iron Man suit…which is really freaking amazing for die-hard Iron Man fans. Going on, EA and Motive Studios has announced a new third-person, single-player Iron man experience game, that might finally give us some story that was missing from many other Iron Man games. Iron Man is a hero known for a rich history of different allies and enemies throughout his hero time.
This new single-player experience will hopefully allow more players to explore the world but also enemies that Tony Stark has faced. At least, this is what we hope. We hope for a game that will finally let us explore Tony Stark’s world like we have with Spider-Man. Being able to do this would also open up the doors to bring back other villains into the game like Detroit Steel or The Mandarin…but maybe in a new form.
A New Iron Man Game Has Been Announced
The studio behind Dead Space is involved with creating an all-new Iron Man video game title, with hopefully no shortage of gameplay and interesting experiences with our favorite armored superhero. Earlier this month, Motive tweeted on their Twitter account revealing an all-new collaboration with Marvel Games with a new single-player, action-adventure Iron Man game. We don’t have much more information on the game since it is still in early development.
Right now, Motive is working on the Dead Space remake, but in the past worked with a Star Wars game called Star Wars: Squadrons, as well as supporting Star Wars: Battlefront 2. So we can rest assured that Iron Man is in great hands when it comes to his new single-player third-person experience game.
As mentioned above, this won’t be the first Iron Man game made, it’ll instead stand with the first game that came out back in 2008 as a tie-in with the MCU film, but many fans felt that game was just…terrible. But now we can be excited for a better Iron Man game coming out way.
